SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE:
NON-ANIMAL APPROACHES
IN BIOMEDICAL EDUCATION

Dear colleagues,

It is our pleasure to invite you to the scientific conference “Non-animal approaches in biomedical education” organized by the University of Sarajevo – Faculty of Pharmacy and the Organisation for Animal Rights and the Environment EVA.

The conference will be held on November 14th - 15th 2024 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
 

The conference aims to promote alternatives to animal testing and other adequate innovations in the education of pharmacists and other biomedical workers by raising awareness of New Approach Methodologies (NAM), which are particularly important in the discovery and development of new drugs, as well as exploring the needed shifts towards greater representation of these approaches in university teaching and learning.

We invite academic pharmaceutical and other biomedical staff and students as well as the other interested stakeholders to actively participate in the Conference, which we hope will serve as a platform to explore the needs and future of educational advancement of non-animal approaches in biomedicine.​
